About our hot tub hire service
Hiring a hot tub is a popular way to mark a birthday, hen or stag weekend, garden party or family get-together without the cost of buying one. Most hires are for a long weekend or a full week, and the tub is set up in your garden, on a patio or on suitable decking.
We handle the whole hire: checking your space, power supply and access, delivering and setting up the tub, filling it and getting the water treatment right, then coming back to drain it down and take it away. You get one clear price for the hire, with no surprises when the tub arrives.
Our hot tub hire services
Inflatable hot tub hire
The most affordable option. A 4 to 6 person inflatable tub that runs from a normal 13 amp outdoor socket, set up on a flat, level surface and filled from your garden hose.
Hard-shell hot tub hire
A solid spa with proper seating, stronger jets and faster heating. Ideal for larger groups and longer hires, subject to suitable access and a firm, level base.
Weekend and midweek hire
Friday to Monday weekend hires and Monday to Friday midweek hires, with midweek dates often the better value outside the summer peak.
Weekly and long-term hire
Seven-night and longer hires for holidays at home, holiday lets and extended celebrations, with water top-ups and treatment advice included.
Party and event packages
Hot tub hire for birthdays, hen and stag parties and garden events, with options such as a gazebo, steps, lighting or a matting base where available.
Holiday let and venue hire
Short-term tubs for holiday cottages, lodges and event venues that want to test demand or cover a busy season without buying outright.

Hot tub hire: frequently asked questions
What do I need to hire a hot tub?
You need a flat, level and firm surface big enough for the tub plus a little working room, typically around 2.2 metres square for an inflatable and more for a hard-shell spa. You also need an outdoor or suitable 13 amp socket close enough to reach without a standard extension lead, protected by an RCD, and an outside tap or hose to fill it. We confirm all of this before booking.
Can I use an extension lead?
Most manufacturers say not to use a standard extension lead, because the heater draws a lot of current for long periods and ordinary leads can overheat. If your socket is too far away, ask us about the safe options before booking, and for permanent use speak to an electrician about a proper outdoor supply.
How long does a hot tub take to heat up?
An inflatable tub usually takes around 24 hours or more to reach full temperature from cold mains water, depending on the weather and the size of the tub. A hard-shell spa is usually quicker. We fill and switch on at delivery, so it is warming while you get ready.
How much water does a hot tub hold?
A typical 4 to 6 person inflatable holds roughly 800 to 1,000 litres, and a hard-shell spa often holds 1,000 to 1,500 litres or more. That is filled from a normal hose, and if you are on a water meter the cost is usually a few pounds.
Can a hot tub go on decking or a balcony?
A filled hot tub is very heavy, often well over a tonne once people are in it, so it must sit on a surface designed to take that weight. Ground-level patios, slabs and concrete are usually fine. Raised decking and balconies need checking, and many are not suitable. We will tell you if the spot you have chosen will not work.
Is it cheaper to hire for a weekend or a week?
Per night, a week is nearly always better value, because the cost of delivery, set-up, filling and collection is the same however long you keep the tub. Many people find a full week costs only a little more than a long weekend.
What temperature should a hot tub be?
Most people enjoy 37 to 39°C. UK guidance is not to exceed 40°C, and children, pregnant women and anyone with a heart condition or other health concerns should take extra care, keep sessions short or check with a doctor first. Avoid alcohol in the tub, and keep the cover locked when it is not in use.
Do you look after the water during the hire?
We set the tub up with the right treatment and leave you simple instructions and test strips, so you can check and top up the chemicals each day. For longer hires we can arrange a mid-hire check.
